How do I scan an object with the app?

With the app, you can scan objects in next to no time.

seventhings makes your inventory easier than ever. All you need is a mobile device with the seventhings app. Once you have recorded and labeled all the objects in the software, all you have to do is scan them in and assign them a current location.

And this is how it works:

1. Open the app and log in

2. Make a pre-selection of the room you are in

3. Hold the camera in front of the label or the scan code

4. The detailed view of the object appears. You can still make changes and add pictures here. When you're done, click Save
