What happens during maintenance of the software and how long does it take until everything is ready to be used again?

We always keep our software up to date and regularly add new features. What happends excatly when we update our software, is written in the article below.

Every two weeks, seventhings carries out a so-called release update. In this process, we bring our software up to date and add new features, among other things. 

During this time, the customer instances are not available for about 2 minutes outside regular operating hours, usually before 08:00am or after 4:00pm.
